How safe are LiFePo4 Lithium batteries?

Because NMPowerNZ has done the research and testing right here in New Zealand you can be assured that we have put our kit through its paces.
We have used LiFePo4 and NOT Lithium-Ion due to their inherent safety. They are a very stable composition and these batteries are now used in millions of installations worldwide as solar back up batteries, in motorhomes, tiny homes, golf carts and many other setups.

Using a Dual battery arrangement doubles your max current availability! This gives you a huge safety margin over a single battery setup.

Another advantage of this is there is no likelihood of over temp or overload cutout on steep hills, a dangerous place to get stuck.

Our conversion will let you climb the steepest of hills, even with just 10% battery remaining.

The LiFePo4 Lithium conversion kit we supply contains everything you need to complete the conversion yourself, except tools and paint. You need moderate mechanical and electrical skills and some heavy lifting will be required. Removing the old lead acid batteries is probably the hardest part of the job.
